The story of ASSMANN BÜROMÖBEL GMBH & CO. KG began in 1939 when Heinrich Ahsmann took over the village carpenter’s workshop. By 1967 he had built it up into a craftsman's business with 15 members of staff. When Dieter Ahsmann joined the company as Managing Director and the premises were moved to their current location, ASSMANN started to grow into an industrial enterprise. Today ASSMANN is a future-oriented family company in its third generation in Melle, near Osnabrück in Lower Saxony. ASSMANN uses state-of-the-art machinery to craft functional and lovingly designed contemporary office furniture that satisfies the even the highest quality standards.
Managing Partner Dirk Aßmann has directed the fortunes of the family firm with determination and a view to future developments since 1999. After all, the demands of the working world are constantly changing – a challenge that everyone at ASSMANN is happy to accept. In close cooperation with our specialist partners, we are committed to delivering a professional service for our customers.
